Storm (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storm_(Marvel_Comics)), like most women going through a divorce, cut herself a mohawk, got a new outfit and headed to Los Angeles to join Uncanny X-Force.
Getting The Look
Uncanny X-Force Storm is all about rocking the mohawk. The rest of this look is fairly easy to put together with a little time and some cash from the marketplace. Though not a perfect match, this outfit captures the streamlined, sleek and elegant style of Storm's latest costume.
The chest, back and legs styles are all available at character creation. While there is no cleavage barring top that matches the one Storm wears you can get a close approximation by combining the One Piece chest with the Logistics Officer shoulders and Druid hand styles. The colouring is not perfect, with the choker being gold rather than black but it's close. Adding the Tech Sniper waist gives you the slight white X effect at the front of her costume.
Logistics Officer shoulders drop in the vault or can be purchased from a PvP armor vendor once you have a PvP combat rating of 87 or above (http://dcuniverseonline.wikia.com/wiki/Logistics_Officer). The Tech Sniper style belt (one of my favourite styles in game) is the reward for the Sins Of The Father: Episode 3 briefing, while the Supergirl boots drop in early levelling or can be bought cheaply from the marketplace.
Even though Storm is African her features are a mix of Caucasian and Asian (Uncanny X-Men #253), so Human Skin 01, the African American skin, doesn't fit. Human Sin 03 gives her the fine features and pointed eyebrows of an authentic and regal looking Storm.

Power, Movement and Weapon Choice
Storm is a character that you can play in a few different ways. You could choose Ice or Electricity. Both allow you to conjure storms, with Ice giving you access to freezing gales and Electricity giving you Storm's iconic lightning blasts.
For this version I created a build using only skills from the Flight movement tree to simulate Storm's command over the wind. Downdraft Attack, High Pressure and Low Pressure are all good choices. Combine them with Word of Power from the Iconic tree for a cool lightning blast effect.
I chose Martial Arts for weapon type even though Hand Blasters are the obvious choice for Storm. You can go with either, but I think Martial Arts is a good reflection of the character's more down and dirty style post-mohawking.

Accuracy and Playability
I really like this Storm look, even though it isn't 100% accurate. There's something about the mohawk and face that really captures the 'elegant rebel' vibe Storm is currently channeling: 8/10. Thanks to weapon mastery you have a lot more freedom to run an eclectic build, like one that relies on only movement powers, taking this build from fun to actually playable. You can certainly do more damage with some other builds, but playing a Storm toon that relies heavily on the wind is a kick: 7/10.
