Lady Mastermind (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lady_Mastermind) is a mutant super villain and briefly one of the X-Men, despite killing Lifeguard and Slipstream's father in cold blood and generally being a psychotic bitch. She has the power to project psychic illusions into people's brains and likes to go shopping with Margaery Tyrell for outfits with really deep cleavage.
Getting The Look
Lady Mastermind's X-Men costume is simple to create, with all but three pieces available at character creation. As with Magik's Marvel Now costume, you will need to use one of your costume colour palettes to create Lady M's signature cleavage-baring ensemble.
Flexsuit chest and leg styles are both available at character creation, as are Biker gloves. You only need three other styles pieces to complete this costume, but they are moderately difficult to collect.
Checkmate Operate belt is a PvP style. Simply grind PvP marks until you have enough to purchase it and the required combat rating (currently this is a low-tier style). The Elite 9mm Pistol style is also purchasable via PvP vendors.
Biohazard feet style requires you to have the Home Turf DLC. As a hero this is a regular drop, but as a villain you will need to complete Home Turf bounties until it drops from the reward lockbox.
As mentioned the large middle panel of the Flexsuit chest piece should then be filled with the colour in Palette 02 to match your characters skin colour. Because of the way light interacts with skin and clothing in DC Universe Online you might find some very minor mismatching between colours in certain lights.

Power, Movement and Weapon Choice
The Mental Illusion tree is the best choice to represent Lady Mastermind's power to cast... mental illusions. You can choose any ability from this tree but I particularly like Horrific Visage, which gives the illusion that some of your enemies have become monsters and Mass Hysteria.
As her Wikipedia entry would like you to remember, Lady Mastermind carries around two handguns that are NOT illusions. Dual Pistol is therefore the most accurate weapon choice, with Acrobatics for movement.

Accuracy and Playability
A good approximation that suffers from the lack of female hairstyle options in DCUO: 8/10. There's enough in the illusion tree to give the illusion of Lady Mastermind's powers and still create effective damage, controller, PvP and PvE builds: 7/10.

Very nice use of that chest style. Id had go with schoolar or shoulder hairstyle instead. Please, post a Scarlet Witch or Polaris. I got them and need some inspiration as how to get them right, specially Polaris. Ms Marvel would be awesome too, even if you seem more into mutants.
