Scarlet Witch - Uncanny Avengers

The Scarlet Witch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scarlet_Witch) stopped being crazy and rejoined the Uncanny Avengers. And nothing says 'I'm not crazy anymore' like a new costume consisting of your old headpiece, a low cut leather coat dress and some boots.

Getting The Look

An easy look to put together, with only the headpiece requiring some effort to acquire. This costume uses the same crimson colouring as the Scarlet Witch's classic look, and as with that costume you will need to be a Legendary member or have access to Amazon Fury, Part 1 with a CR of 100.

Formal hands and Knee High feet styles are available at character creation.

Detective chest style is the Gotham Central collection reward. You can farm for the collections yourself or pick them up pretty cheaply on the broker. Retro Tech legs style is a reward for completing the Enigmatic Puzzles investigation. The Detective chest prevents you equipping a waist style, so I prefer the Retro Tech legs as the band at the top provides a nice border between your leg and chest style. Without it the costume can look unfinished.

Slim Red Aura is not essential, but is a nice offset to the crimson of this costume while adding an air of power. You can buy it from the Broker, Marketplace for real cash, or if you get lucky it can drop from a lockbox.

The Amazon Soldier headpiece drops from any of the Amazon Fury, Part 1 duos. As with the Scarlet Witch's classic look you will need to apply the bright red colour from the third Palette slot to the headpiece to make it appear the same crimson colour as the rest of the costume

Power, Movement and Weapon Choice

Hand blasts and Sorcery are best for duplicating Scarlet Witch's mutant probability (or magic, who knows) powers. This version showed a particularly varied array of powers so you can really choose any ability from either tree and still be in character.

At this point the Scarlet Witch definitely has the ability to fly, so Flight is the only logical movement choice.

Accuracy and Playability

Though the coat is not an exact match this Scarlet Witch costume it comes close enough to make a nice substitute: 7/10. Sorcery is an effective match for just about any version of the Scarlet Witch, and can be played as either a healer of DPS effectively, in both PvE and PvP: 10/10.
