Hope Summers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hope_Summers_(comics)) is the adopted daughter of Cable and the "saviour" of the mutant race. At least until the Inhumans came along as part of Marvel's quest to replace all things mutant. So hey Hope, sorry your whole existence was kind of a waste of time. Hope can duplicate the powers of any mutant within range and learnt how to like really big, impractical guns from her daddy. Also, Phoenix stuff that I'm not going to try to explain here.
Getting The Look
Hope has one of those annoying superhero costumes that shifts subtly from artist to artist and issue to issue. But while some of the details change, the basics of it remain the same: green and yellow jumpsuit, ragged cape, big gun.
This is technically two looks, since I've done regular Hope and Extra Special Phoenix Is Coming Hope, but the looks weren't different enough to warrant two separate posts. In the Styles and Colours sections if there are two entries, the second one is always the Phoenix variant version.
I've kept the colour scheme reminiscent of Jean Grey/Phoenix without copying it exactly. Whole at first there was some discussion that the two characters were related, or that Hope may have even been Jean reincarnated, it turns out the Phoenix has a specific type - and that type is green eyed redheads. So at least it's Tinder preferences will be really easy to fill out.
I'm going to be doing the posts a little differently now. The Style and Colour keys will be right here at the top, and then underneath I'll include a breakdown of how to get each style.
Emissive Eyes face, Glowing skin and Tattered back - All available at character creation. Emissive Eyes and Tattered back can also be purchased from a style vendor in your HQ, while the Glowing skin can be bought from the skin vendor. Depending on your alignment it's either near Star Labs for Heroes, or Ace Chemicals for Villains.
Orange Nimbus Aura - Your only shot at getting this is if there's one for sale on the Broker. Which is sad, because it's so pretty.
Heart of The Predator shoulders - Only drop from the Love & War Operation. You will need a combat rating of 107 to access it, as well as either Legendary membership or the War of The Light II DLC. OR you can purchase the style for marks from the rare style vendor in your specific HQ.
Amazon Polemarch hands - Available from the Rare Style Vendor or as a reward for completing solo mission in Gotham Under Siege. You will need access to the Amazon Fury Part 1 DLC or Legendary membership.
Tech Sniper waist - This is the reward for the Sins Of The Father: Episode 3 briefing.
Logistics Officer feet - This style drops from the Vault, or can be obtained from the PvP armorer in your HQ. If you are purchasing the style you will need a PvP CR of 87.
Protege chest - Is the reward for the Gotham Gone To Hell investigation in the Gotham Wastelands. You will need access to the Sons Of Trigon DLC pack or Legendary membership. Chevron Slimline chest style can be used as a passable substitute while you level your character, or if you can't get access.
Retro Tech legs - Reward for completing the Enigmatic Puzzles investigation.
Short-Barrel Shotgun rifle - Drops in Joker's Funhouse/Gotham University Warehouse, as well as in the T3 challenges Meta Research Wing and STAR Labs Facility. Really any big, impractical looking gun will do. The bigger the better!
Fiery Cestus (Alternate) brawlers - Part of the fiery weapon styles only available from the Marketplace.

Character Choices
Power: Munitions, Weapon: Rifle, Movement: Acrobatics, Body Type: Monarch Small,
Personality: Powerful.
Hope primarily uses big guns in battle, relying less on her mutant power. Munitions is the best fit, but Gadgets could work as well to represent the quasi-future tech she and Cable are always getting around with. If you prefer your Hope Summers well done, Phoenix Force style, then Fire is the obvious choice. Throw in some iconic powers if you'd like to show her copying mutant abilities.
Acrobatics for movement style, with Rifle for all the big guns. I've used the Journeyman's Boots in the last series of pics, to ape the panels from Avengers Vs X-Men where a fiery Phoenix Hope has borrowed super speed to run away from Utopia. They drop from the vault and that's the only place you can get them.
