Firestar

Firestar (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firestar) is a mutant, capable of projecting microwaves from her body. The radiation, not like rectangular metal cooking machines. Though she started life in a Spider-Man cartoon, the character has since been a Hellion, Avenger and finally one of the X-Men.

An extremely easy style to put together, provided you have a high enough CR to access The Demon's Pit duo.

Hope Summers

Hope Summers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hope_Summers_(comics)) is the adopted daughter of Cable and the "saviour" of the mutant race. At least until the Inhumans came along as part of Marvel's quest to replace all things mutant. So hey Hope, sorry your whole existence was kind of a waste of time. Hope can duplicate the powers of any mutant within range and learnt how to like really big, impractical guns from her daddy. Also, Phoenix stuff that I'm not going to try to explain here.

Getting The Look
Hope has one of those annoying superhero costumes that shifts subtly from artist to artist and issue to issue. But while some of the details change, the basics of it remain the same: green and yellow jumpsuit, ragged cape, big gun.

Domino - X-Force Black

Domino (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domino_(comics)) accidentally (or 'luckily', see what I did there?! SHE DOESN'T HAVE LUCK POWERS!) stumbled into one of Wolverine's X-Force operations, shot a bunch of clones, and became part of the team.

Getting The Look
X-Force was drawn by two very different artists, who took turns doing the arcs. For some reason they drew Domino's costume so differently, it might as well have been two entirely different outfits. So I'm going to do them both (because you didn't demand it, and no-one is reading this anyway)! The first is the version as rendered by Clayton Crain. In general his art on X-Force, though amazing, was so dark it was hard to make out little details... Like what the fuck people were wearing. So from what I can tell Domino's uniform was basically a black collared combat outfit, with some cleave, holsters and pouches.

Storm - Punk

Storm (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storm_(Marvel_Comics)) is a mutant, and arguably the most recognisable of the female X-Men. In the 80's she transformed from a buttoned up weather "goddess" into a leather wearing, mohawk-ed (that's a word!), punk.

In what might be the shortest blog post ever, all but one style needed to create this look is available at character creation. If you're building this look with a pre-existing character you can find any styles you haven't already collected at the vendors in the Hall of Doom/Watchtower.

Domino - Cable & Deadpool

Domino (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domino_(comics)) is a mutant with the power to have things "naturally fall into place" to her benefit. Modern writers have mistakenly interpreted this as her having 'luck' powers, which makes me really angry. So I'm mentioning it here. SHE DOESN'T HAVE LUCK POWERS. She likes guns, having sex with Cable and not being called Beatrice.

Getting The Look
Domino has had more costumes than you think. Unfortunately her most recognisable one, with the purple headpiece, can't currently be replicated in DC Universe Online. The Amazon Soldier head style is a perfect match, but equipping it prevents any face style from showing. That means you lose Domino's iconic eyepatch, and the whole look falls apart.

Rachel Grey - Jean Grey School

After returning from space Rachel Grey (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Summers) hung out at the Jean Grey School in Wolverine And The X-Men, but was only shown teaching once that I can remember. She probably spent the rest of her time seeing a therapist to try and figure out why she likes spikes so much. Despite the fact that they were part of her original hound costume; given to her by the people that imprisoned, tortured and forced her to hunt down other mutants to be slaughtered.

Getting The Look

Even though this costume makes no sense from a character perspective, I still love it. Pouches, the spikes, a jacket which is really just long strips of material whipping around... What's not to love.

Mystique - Spy

Mystique (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mystique_%28comics%29) was coerced by Professor Xavier and Forge into running around the world in a halter top on secret missions. Kind of like Alias, but instead of wigs there was actual shapeshifting.

Getting The Look
Far easier than Mystique's original style to put together, this is a good option if you're working your way up to the Amazon content, or if you want to roleplay as Mystique on the hero side.
